Topic: RadioSparx - Website Player, R-Box Pearl, RS-PLAY, and Playback Issues
Article ID: KB4355

Q.  R-Box Auto-Run and/or Auto-Play Fails After a Reboot, What Can I Do?

A.  There are a few possible reasons why auto-play may not work on Android devices:

1.  One of the common reasons is the presence of power optimization in the device settings. If this option is enabled, the system may automatically restrict application activity, which may disable auto-play. To resolve this issue, disable any power optimization feature for the R-Box app.

2.  Another possible cause of auto-run malfunctioning could be the presence of third-party apps or installed optimizer apps that automatically turn off unwanted apps to save resources. In this case, it's a good idea to check the settings of these apps and remove the R-Box Pearl app from the list of disabled apps.

It is important to note that each version of Android and each manufacturer may have its own peculiarities and limitations on the auto-launch of applications. Therefore, it is recommended that you consult the device manufacturer's documentation or search the relevant information online for the specific device and version of the Android operating system.

Check these things:
  • Open Settings on your Android device.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the list of settings and look for the "Security" or "Security & Privacy" section.
  • Open the "Manage Apps" or "Manage App Launches" section.
  • Find the app you need in the list and check its startup status.
  • If auto-play is disabled, enable this feature by selecting the appropriate toggle or checkbox.
